I have now been a wildlife and travel photographer applying Canon equipment for around 25 decades now. Through the decades, I used almost all of Canon's cropped and whole frame cameras and their EF and EF-S lenses. Spring is ultimately here and several photographers are gearing as much as head out for their favorite areas and start clicking up a storm.

Rule EF 24-105mm f/4L IS - A good value and at all times contact for travel, landscape and wildlife photography. That lens is always on my EOS-1D X or EOS-1D Mk IV cameras when I get journey or closeup wildlife shots. It offers excellent developed and picture quality at a fair price. The main programs and pace are well suited for indoor and outside shooting problems although the IS presents just a 2 stop advantage. I want to see Canon draw out a Line II edition with the latest coatings and a 4 end IS system.
Rule EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II - That lens is ideal for broad perspective landscape shots on complete frame cameras like the 1Ds Mk III or EOS-5D Mk III. In addition it acts as a versatile journey contact on the EOS-1D Mk IV as well. Really sharp and fast. Can be used indoors when thumb images is prohibited. Adding IS to this lens would have been a good improvement but that would include extra weight. If price is a thought, then I would suggest the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens.
Rule EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS - This really is my personal favorite EF-S lens and will go great with the EOS-7D camera as a general function lens. No low priced lens nevertheless the developed and image quality is first rate and the continuous aperture throughout the focus selection is perfect for acquiring pictures in minimal mild conditions.
Rule EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye - Having its unique main size selection, this contact could be the broadest fisheye contact lens available on the market. It gives 180° straight direction of view photographs for several EOS SLR cameras with imaging forms which range from full-frame to APS-C, and provides 180° round fisheye images for full-frame EOS models. I use this lens to photograph whales and other marine animals when I am in the water. Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II - Very sharp and quickly contact for close up wildlife activity, giving up to 4 prevents of modification and set aperture at all main lengths. I used this lens for decades and the newest variation is the better yet. An excellent lens for closeup, reduced mild travel and wildlife images and is useful with both 1.4X and 2.0X extenders. Very steadily developed and stands as much as high quality subject use.
Rule EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS - I used down buying that contact for a while as the EF 70-300mm DO was this kind of disappointment for me. The excess reach and light weight ( set alongside the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II ) of the contact is available in practical when I'm photographing bigger wildlife in good light. Exceptional 4 end IS compensation. Still another great contact for cetacean and wildlife picture shoots. The disadvantages are extenders cannot be used on this lens and it does not feature a move ring.
